The Irresistible Revolution

This is how Christians should live. This is the second time I've read Shane Claiborne's debut book The Irresistible Revolution and it was just as phenomenal as before. Looking for a comfortable book? Don't read this. Looking for a feel good book? Find another one. This book, which chronicles some of Claiborne's experiences and The Simple Way's experiments in actually living the gospel, will make most people's ideas of Christian life turn pallid. It will light a fire beneath the asses of all the lazy people in this world. It may just remind you that being a Christian isn't supposed to be easy. After all, how easy is it to carry a cross? And, if you let it, it might just inspire you to be the change you want to see in this world, instead of just dreaming about it.
